Chris Powell-Williams

Design Engineer and CAD

Structural Engineer with 4+ years experience and CAD draughtsman/3D modeller with 15+ years experience (I still remember AutoCAD LT 95) using a variety of different drawing packages inc. AutoCAD, 3ds max, Rhino (NURBS modeller), Microstation & Revit.

With Structural Engineering I mainly concentrate on refurbishment and repairs works of existing and historic structures (inc. The Lord Mayor of London’s State Coach whilst working at Cameron Taylor).

Outside of work you will rarely find me without a sketchbook, pens, pencils and the odd tube of watercolour.

I am a qualified Sailing Instructor and have experience in both yachts and dinghies, having worked for a time with the team at UK Sailing Academy, Cowes I.O.W.

Weather permitting I can be found pottering around the concrete bowl at Datchet Reservoir in my catamaran or Flying 15.

I also have a passion for fly fishing and regularly explore new waters to fish, bit of a family tradition as both my late grandfather and my father both enjoy fishing with me.
